ReplyDeleteCobly, a shy student at Tensville Elementary school was born with a rare skin disease that is still unknown of a name. It causes her hands to have blue blotches on them. The children in her class think she is weird and make fun of her all the time. Bella, the bully of the class is really hard on Colby, she picks on her and makes the other classmates dislike her. Emily, a girl who seems to be liked by everyone stands up for Colby. She tells Bella that she is mean for staying things to hurt Colby’s feelings. Emily ends up running a fund raiser to help with the research of Cobly’s condition. The picture was the poster picture put around town to raise awareness of the disease, and to advertise the upcoming fund raiser. Mrs. Fields, the grade 6 teacher at Tensville Elementary helped the girls with the project and made it a class project. All the students became involved in the fund raiser, even Bella.

PLOT: During a two week long stay-over camp called “Camp Feel Good” there is a group of bullies, boys who think they are tougher than everyone. The leader of the group, Sam, tells his “leaders” what do to, the bullies torment all the kids at the camp, especially Jenny. One day, after only the first week, the bullying gets taken to fare and everyone gets sent home from camp.

Sam (antagonist)- is always bothering the kids at camp, especially Jenny. He is a bully and always gets away with being mean.
Jenny (protagonist)- is a sweet little girl, she has been bullied all her life. She loves art, it allows her to release her feelings, Jenny lets people walk all over her and never stands up for herself.
Jenny’s mom, Sue- tries to protect Jenny, she knows she is bullied and tries to make her feel happy all the time by letting her do whatever she wants to do.
Emma- she is Jenny’s friend at camp and stands up for Jenny whenever she is being bullied by Sam. Emma is a strong girl and doesn’t let people walk all over her, she is a nice girl but isn’t shy like Jenny.
Ben- Sam’s evil sidekick at camp. Ben does whatever Sam asks him to do, he is mean but not as mean as Sam, Ben always gets caught for the things Sam sets him up to do.
Camp councillor, Jill- Jill is a young girl in her 20's running the camp for the summer. Jill is a nice girl and tries her best to make everyone get along, she has her hands full at camp and often finds herself flustered.
EVENT: One day all the kids are split up into groups are supposed to make a poster for their team, there was going to be a sports tournament that day. Sam and Jenny are in the same group, Sam thinks it would be funny to push Jenny into the big bowl of blue paint, so he tells Ben to do that, and he does. Jill helps Jenny out of the paint and camp gets cancelled for the rest of the week, everyone’s parents have to come pick them up and Ben and Sam are not allowed back at camp ever again. Jenny leaves the camp very upset and never goes back to camp again.
SETTING: It’s summer time, July, warm weather, crisp air, green scenery at a stay over camp called “Camp Feel Good” in the forest in the town of Smithson.

His inspiration started when he was in his Grade 12 first semester, and environmental science class is what sparked his environmental passion.

Plot-
Prez Bush is looking to better his image as President of the United States. Citizens are looking to him as an image of world destruction. His personal advisor’s job is to make Prez Bush and iconic figure, not the “scum bag” we all know Bush to be. His personal advisor suggest creating campaign images to show that Bush is “Here for the World”and believes “Together we can make a change!” Bush is looking to take over the land that Craig’s father owns in order to make “green belts” and animal/wildlife sanctuaries. Craig is torn between the two... On one hand Bush is looking to eliminate the wildlife destruction, but on the other hand his family will be out of work and there will be no income, this creates a huge decision for Craig.

ReplyDeleteA girl's town has an art event where they ask kids to paint giant globes on the edge of a path. One girl, Jessie, paints hers 'organically' . One day she sees two grown men walk by her globe, and eavesdrops on their convorsation. They are talking about how this world will never be organic, it will always be dependant on non-renewable energy, and thats why they stay in business. Jessie confronts them about their doubt in the human race's potential to change. They laugh at her.
Years later she becomes the CEO of a big renewable energy company, and has a meeting with the two men she met all those years ago.

Plot: Volunteers around the ages 17-22 go to Africa to teach locals how to farm in there infertile soil. They grow rich crops and provide much food.
Antagonist: Abuu Garloush- He feels that people from America are not good and teaching wrong methods and are not there to help them. He sabotoshes the crops
Protangonist: Sidney Misdelsky- She is a Canadian volunteer and brings the locals fruits from the market, and cares for the sick, because she is training to be a nurse. She finds out about Abuu and trys to explain to him what they are doing and trys to make him feel better about them.

London, England
Plot: Pandora has just moved to the town of London from Oregon and she does not know a soul. Her wealthy, snobby mother had received a job offer in London and dragged Pandora along with her. Pandora's father died recently, so she didn't really have a choice. Her new school is a prestigious private catholic school not far from her new house. "Our Sisters of Mercy" was the name. She hates the uniforms there. The skirts are a ghastly shade of puke green paired with a white polo t-shirt with the same puke green ribbon tied around the collar. She is dreading her first day.
Across the city lives a boy named Thomas. He too goes to Our Sisters of Mercy catholic private school, but unlike Pandora, he is on a scholarship. He has worked hard to earn this scholarship and plans to go to Harvard in the United States. Thomas has lived in London all his life and can't wait to get out. He likes the city itself, but the people in it, he could do without. His family has always been low in economic status and he dreams of a better life. One where he can get what he wants and do what he wants without being judged because of his family and their lack of money. He wants to go somewhere where nobody knows him so he can start over and make a new, better life for himself.
On the first day of school, Pandora and Thomas meet each other for the first time. They instantly hit it off. They become the best of friends, spending every lunch together, their spare periods together and spend the afternoons together. Pandora is slowly but surely falling for Thomas and decides it's time for Thomas to meet her mother. She warns him in advance that her mother is a completely ignorant dunce and to not take anything too personally. The encounter is much worse than Pandora thought. She went so far as to use the N-word. She fears Thomas will be so hurt he will never speak to her again. To her delight, he does. He is falling for her as well and says people like her mother can never keep them apart. He decides to introduce Pandora to his father because he thinks his father will be much more understanding about their relationship than Pandora's mother. He was wrong. Growing up with a strong African heritage, he was un-accepting of Pandora dating his son and kicked her out.
Thomas and Pandora fear their parents will never be accepting of their relationship. They have no other choice. They must run away. They attempt to flee London, but their plan is quickly foiled by the police. Their parents forbid them to see each other ever again. They have no other choice. They may only be together in death(as Romeo and Juliet that may sound)

ReplyDeletePlot - This picture is taken in a secluded area of Tibet. It is considered holy and is only known to a small group of monks called the Zhan Xan. The globes are portals to other time periods and places in the world. The Zhan Xan are secretly the world leaders yet no one knows they exist. The reason they have so much control is because they have steered the course of humanity for thousands of years and have kept a low profile. They are the ones who control natural disasters, man made disasters, and the plan for the Earth. They give people the freedom to make their own decisions so their lives are not predestined. They do, however, have a final plan for the future, and when the current course of time is not on track they travel back and change events.
Event - Something ends up going wrong so they decide to rewrite it. As they travel back in time they cannot determine what it is that must be changed in order to get back on track. Time is running out as the world is coming to an end.

Mrs. Kimble - the teacher of Abe (Antagonist)... she does not really pay attention to Abe, and neither does anyone else in his class.
Bella - a co-op student at James Hillier elementary school. she is the only one who pays any attention to Abe
Setting: it is at school, mainly in the class room.
Plot:
Abe is a special needs boy in Kindergarten and has no friends, and everyone just ingores him, does not even ackowledge that he is even in the class. Bella is a student of St. John's high school and is forced into a co-op at an elementary school; and she absolutely hates children. she fins Abe sitting by himself one day and she befrineds the little boy. Abe begins to tell her about "his world" and how everything is amazing and no one lives without friends.

Setting: Manitoba, mostly in the high school
Plot: One day, Cindy needed to wash her hands. So she put up her hand and asked to go to the bathroom. When she left,everything was normal. She turned on the tap, and noticed blue paint coming out, instead of normal water. She had no idea what was going on and this made her very nervous. So she sprinted back to the classroom and was out of breath, explaining to her teacher. She noticed that everyone was drinking this water, and no one knew why she was so upset. The teacher was confused, apparently this water was 'normal.' Cindy had to find a way to get everyone snapped out of this nasty trick. She knew who the only culprit could be...VEERAN!
event: Cindy must prove that this is Veeran, while at the same time Veeran is doing everything to prove it was not him. Cindy must figure it out soon, or all the water in the world would be like this, and everyone would consider it 'normal.'

Four really good friends all decide to go on a camping/canoeing trip together in a remote natural wildlife park in nothern Canada. A friend that got jealous because he wasn’t invited on the trip decides to tag along by following them with his car without them knowing. After they arrive they finish all of their unpacking and set up camp. Night falls and they are all sitting around a camp fire talking and Tanner is creeping on them a few meters back in the woods listening to their conversation. The topic of Tanner comes up and a lot of really hurtful things are said about him, and he decides to get revenge on what he thought were his friends

The University of Ohio organized a trip to Africa for all students studying diverse culture and tourism. The two week trip should give students are given an opportunity to get a better understanding of how people in other cultures live. The students are taken to a very small and poor village but they are shocked to see a different view of the world that they had never seen before. Everyone in the village is lovable and extremely friendly. They have next to nothing and are content with that. They appreciate life and everything it has to offer for them, even if it's not much. The village is decorated with magnificent globes and hand-made pieces of art that symbolize the life of people living in the village. The students all experience an incredible epiphany.
Characters:
Students from The University of Ohio (Aged 18-25)
Antagonist - Ben, 20: a selfish student who takes life for granted. Ben has everything, a big house, his own car, his schooling paid for and many friends. He can't understand why he has to be dragged on this trip just to see how people live in a country that he doesn't live in.
Protagonist - Marshall, 21: a student who truly begins to understand life in third world countries. Marshall also a popular student who has a great personality and is really easy-going and easy to get along with.
Event:
When the students are taken for a tour of the village, Ben doesn't seem to care. He complains over and over again that he is sick of the trip and wants to get back to "his" life, the "better" life. This upsets many of the other students including Marshall, who understands the hardships that the people in the village must overcome. Marshall tries to make Ben understand but starts believing that Ben will never understand especially if he can't see it for himself. The people of the village speak with the students and explain every aspect of their life in Africa and the village. It is a very emotional conversation and the students got very emotional, including Ben.
Setting:
The students travel to Africa and visit many different cultural sites and spend most of their time at a small village.

A 16 year old girl named Kari begins her first day at a new school in California after her move from Ohio and is immediately rejected by her classmates. She is taunted regularly and, after a year of this, attempts to commit suicide. When word gets out, the student's who bullied her come to see the severity of their actions and to apologize for their wrong-doings start an organization against bullying of any kind, instead promoting tolerance and acceptance.
Characters:
Protagonist - Kari White, a sixteen year old girl who finds herself in a deep depression after being taunted relentlessly by fellow classmates.
Antagonist(s) - Eleventh grade students in Kari's English class, with the primary bully being Sasha Travers, a sixteen year old with a love of manipulation and control.
Event:
The student's who are bullying Kari follow her home and egg her house, prompting the last straw for Kari. She attempts suicide though ultimately fails and when word gets out, the students begin to see the error of their ways and that acceptance is far more important than petty highschool drama.

Maria (Protagonist): A genuine, caring, and strong hearted woman.
Jasiri (Antagonist): Very harsh, callised, African tribal leader.
Plot: Maria travels to Tanzania on a humanitarian trip, to help feed and provide for the countries people. When she arrives, she sees the terrible and inhuman things taking place at the hand of their leader, Jasiri. She is shaken at the atrocities taking place. She goes back to her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. Upon her arrival, she raises awareness of the destruction taking place in Tanzania. The US government takes notice of her actions, and the United Nations then take matters into their hands, and stop Jasiri and his Genocide.
Event: Genocide, raising awareness
Setting: Tanzania. Boston, Massachusetts. During the season of spring.
